Success At-A-Glance:

The Role - US Operations Manager

Educate!, a fast-growing non-profit social enterprise, is looking for a US Operations Manager to join our External Relations team to help us get to the next level. We are scaling rapidly and are creating this dynamic new role to take on big areas of responsibility as our US team’s needs expand. As the Operations Manager, you will build out Educate!’s US operations function and team. Our External Relations team is focused on fundraising and communications, and we’ve experienced rapid growth from 2 to 15 full-time team members in 4 years (and growing!). Your goal will be to set up the systems you’ll need to smoothly run and scale operations functions to support our team’s continued expansion. You’ll be managing our external financial contractors and the External Relations assistant to achieve goals around finance, operations, admin, and HR/talent. You’ll lead: our US financial management, budgeting and financial reporting for fundraising, building and managing HR and talent systems and operations, overseeing execution of administrative processes, and generally finding ways to improve the ways we work. You’ll start out working closely with the Director of External Relations to learn the ropes and get the lay of the land, with the goal of running with what you’ve learned and taken ownership of as much as you can as quickly as you can.

You are a rockstar implementer and systems-builder with an exceptional eye for detail, a drive to constantly improve, and a strong sense of professional judgment and responsibility. You enjoy working numbers and mastering Excel. Your ambition is to build a best-in-class function, you aspire to autonomy, and you’ll work toward giving away your Legos.
