Director of Coaching Programs

About Moneythink

Moneythink builds economic opportunity for Americans by equipping young adults to achieve educational success and financial health. Our innovative model -- combining high touch coaching with high-tech digital tools -- supports students in making strong college and financial decisions in order to start on the path toward economic success.

Moneythink’s College Financial Success program connects college financial coaches with under-resourced youth to support students from their senior year of high school through their freshman year of college. We help students as they search for a college match, navigate the complexities of financial aid, transition to a new college environment, and balance many competing priorities to make ends meet while focusing on what matters in college. The program’s outcomes are reduced financial stress and increased college persistence and graduation, with the ultimate purpose of supporting students’ attainment of meaningful education, gainful careers, and fulfilling lives.

About the Opportunity

The Director of College Coaching will be a critically important part of our growing team. Managing college finances is a harrowing pursuit for millions of students. The opportunity to help students as they make critical decisions that often affect the rest of their lives is humbling - you’ll be building this support system with us at scale.

We’re building our college coaching program. We have been piloting this program for 6 months and we are now growing to offer it to college-bound students across the nation. We’re looking for you to come in to execute on this model, gather feedback from our users’ experience, iterate and innovate based on insights, and lead us into improved versions of our current model.

You will build and manage a strong team of college coaches to help you push this program forward. By the end of your first year, you will likely be managing five direct reports, then nearly double thereafter. You will also develop and maintain partnerships with organizations who will find value in this program and who can give us support and access to our targeted audience--students.

As Director of College Coaching, you will own three core responsibilities: leading the college financial success coaching team, managing the implementation of coaching programs with partners, and developing new partnerships.

Manage Coaching Team (50%)

Manage Program Implementation (30%)

Develop Partnerships (20%)
