ABOUT THE ROLE: MEMBERSHIP GROWTH DIRECTOR
We’re seeking a Membership Growth Director who is thrilled at the prospect of driving individual sales while also building and growing a world-class membership sales team. Reporting to, working with, and learning from Emily Chong, VP, Strategy & Partnerships, you will have a hand in every stage of the funnel and growth strategy, helping to define opportunity to enhance our pipeline and process.
YOUR WORK + THE NATIONSWELL COUNCIL
The NationSwell Council – a key element of our business – gives members access to meetings with America’s leading problem-solvers, Jeffersonian style dinners to unpack and advance solutions, a range of networking opportunities, and opportunities for direct service and impact. The Council is based in NYC, SF and DC and currently has nearly 600 members.
As part of our Membership Growth team, you will directly influence and continue the growth of this diverse community of influencers and accomplished professionals who are passionate about service.
On a given day, it could be equally likely for you to be having closing sales calls with accomplished leaders at the top of their industry (think: Doug Rauch - CEO, Conscious Capitalism, former President of Trader Joe's; Paul Appelbaum - Co-Founder, Seamless) as it would be for you to be focused on setting priorities and making key strategic decisions around our membership sales strategy.
You have a passion for the pitch, a track record of selling, and experience designing, building and managing a high-performing sales team. You thrive at your job when given the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to innovate and adapt quickly.

Base annual salary is highly competitive. We offer great benefits modeled after B Corp assessment standards, including the opportunity for employees to work remotely for part of the week.
