Founded in 1999, Cool Culture is a NYC-based nonprofit that harnesses the arts and culture,social justice principles, and partnerships with community stakeholders - families, community-based organizations and schools, and cultural institutions - to improve outcomes for marginalized children and families, and to strengthen communities. Cool Culture’s interdisciplinary work is informed by cultural organizing, family engagement and arts education.

 

About the role: Institutional Giving and Grants Manager

Cool Culture is seeking an experienced and proven Institutional fundraiser who will identify, cultivate and raise funds from foundations, corporations, government sources and elected officials. The Institutional Giving Manager will be responsible for managing a $2 million dollar portfolio. The position will involve coordination among development and program staff to gather information into varied proposal formats in a timely fashion to meet application and reporting deadlines. A successful candidate will bring a high level of competency, motivation and ability to learn quickly, and will act under strict deadlines to produce high quality work. The position is full-time and reports to the Director of Development and Communications (DoDC).
